How Accurate Is My Location Pin Code?

Browsers do not all locate you the same way. A phone uses GPS satellites plus nearby mobile towers. A desktop has neither, so it falls back to your IP address, which is registered to your internet provider and can sit in a completely different part of the city. That is why a desktop often reports a pin code belonging to your ISP's exchange rather than your street — and why the map is the better tool there.
